Japanese illustrations

Some interesting illustrations of creatures influenced by Japanese culture. Quite a bit different from my own illustrative style, they focus a lot more on texture and light, whereas I tend to use line work. These are an interesting take on Japanese folk lore, but I don't necessarily think they reflect the traditional Japanese style as much .
